This morning I awoke from a two-month hibernation to discover -- in addition to a damp mattress -- that I'd been transplanted to a cattle ranch in the plains of southern Oregon. Still trying to figure out who or what is responsible for shipping me out here. Impressive.
In the meantime, the world and I have a lot of catching up to do. Lots of stuff going on out there, but the one headline really choked me up concerned the impending incarceration of my beloved soul flower, Warren Jeffs. I hope he lands himself a nice, sexually responsible cellmate.
I'm going to revamp the site a bit. The NYC show listings will be swapped out for those of Oregon's music scene, which I've actually found to be rather impressive. In honor of the inception of the 2006 football season, l will reinvigorate the Line Of The Day section, plus maybe even create a few more useless lists for these stale sidebars.

Most importantly, the site is in dire need some fresh mp3s. Let's start with some gritty blue-eyed soul:
"Woman to Woman" by Joe Cocker
Purchase Brothers On The Slide: the Story of UK Funk 1969-1975

Had to post this. Full trailer for Borat Does America. I'm counting the days 'til November 4th.
